Releasing Fear

Releasing fear is an ongoing and lifelong practice. We all experience times of heightened fear, and other times when we feel more able to manage fear and anxiety. It is important to work on releasing fear so that it gives us mental, physical and emotional relief. We can be more present and enjoy life when we are able to release fear.


There are so many ways you can work on releasing fear. Calming your mind and body through taking deep breaths, going for a walk or run, sitting outside in the sunshine, opening your hands and visualizing yourself releasing the worry, listening to music and creating art are all ways to release fear. Talking with trusted friends and family who can help you regain balanced perspective and be an encouragement and support is also extremely helpful.
